It has been many years since the Great War. The Dark Lord's defeat is an event now marked down forever within the History of Hogwarts. Since that day, the great halls of Hogwarts have been rebuilt into their former glory. The children of the students who stood and fought on that day have since entered these halls, and began their education.
Although the threat of Voldemort has since vanished, what he stood for still taints the mind of many wizards. His desire for a world in which pure blooded wizards reign supreme has infected the minds of many witches and wizards since. A recent outbreak of murders have taken place. The attacks are focused on families of "mud-bloods", and "blood traitors". The Minister of Magic has contacted the English Prime Minister about the truth on these murders. The muggle news is keeping the truth hidden with claims of a new virus leading to these deaths, but those of the wizarding world knows the truth.
The students of Hogwarts must try to survive a lot of things this year- Scolding teachers, brutal classes, monstrous tests, rough Quidditch matches, treacherous teen drama. Now many must worry if their family, or family friends are in danger. Will they survive, will they fight, or will they join the infection.
